Gambling can be a fantastic form of entertainment, however at PEI we’re well aware that participation in any form of gambling can also lead to problems. It’s our aim to protect our customers through preventative and educational measures, by working closely with industry bodies and well known addiction research institutes. We want all our customers to feel well looked after, safe in the knowledge we’re doing everything we can to make sure you enjoy trouble-free gambling at PEI.

PEI does not allow anyone under 18 to play and uses strict measures to implement this policy. We also make sure that our advertising and sponsoring does not cater to minors. To ensure that minors do not log-in and play without your consent, we recommend the following guidelines:
There are a number of other third part applications that parents or guardians can use to monitor or restrict the use of their computer's access to the internet:
Net Nanny filtering software protects children from inappropriate web content: www.netnanny.com
CYBERsitter filtering software allows parents to add their own sites to block: www.cybersitter.com
For the majority, gambling is an interesting and varied form of recreational activity. While most people play for fun and within their financial limits, the pathological gambler is under constant pressure to gamble. This behaviour most often leads to financial and family problems.
To reduce your own personal risk, it is important to be aware of this potential danger and to take the following into consideration:
As part of mybet's responsible gaming policy, you can set your own weekly deposit and stake limits to help protect you from spending more than you can afford. Under “My Account > Personal Limits” you can set your own personal limits for the maximum sums you want to deposit in your gaming account on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
If you want to increase your limits, this can be done a minimum of 7 days after you make the request. Decreasing your limits can be done at any time with immediate effect. If you want to increase your limits having previously decreased them, this can only be done one month after you make the request. Please feel free to contact our customer service team should you have any questions or require further information on your deposit limits.
If you feel that you need some time out or may be developing a gambling problem you can choose to 'freeze' your mybet account or 'self exclude'. You have the option of initiating a short-term or temporary freeze, or terminating your account. A short-term freeze (cooling off period) lasts for at least 24 hours, while a temporary freeze lasts for at least a month. During this period, your gaming account will be deactivated and you will no longer be able to log in.
You also have the option of permanently excluding yourself from your account. In this case, your account will be permanently blocked and any deposits remaining in your gaming account will be refunded. You will only be able re-register after at least a year.
If you are interested in freezing or excluding yourself from your account, you can use the function provided for this purpose under “My Account > Self-limitation” or contact our customer service team on +356 21 382 889 or email responsiblegaming@pei-ltd.com.
To stop you losing track of time in our casino, we will remind you after an hour (or a shorter period specified by you) of the amount of time you have spent playing so far. The notification allows you to keep playing or leave the casino and not play any further games for the rest of the day.
In addition to arranging a cooling off period or self exclusion for all mybet games, you may also apply for self exclusion from the mybet-Casino. In this instance, it is not possible to use the real money casino for the specified period (permanently or temporarily). If you would like to exclude yourself from the mybet-Casino, please use the function provided for this purpose in the Casino menu, or contact our customer service team on +356 21 382 889 or email responsiblegaming@pei-ltd.com
A pathological gambler causes a lot of stress and problems for family members. The following signs should be taken seriously and may indicate the start of gambling addiction:
Family members who are affected by gambling addiction can find help with GamAnon (GAMblers ANONymous Family Groups). The GamAnon Family Groups are a world wide community of family members and friends of addicts.
If you are concerned that gambling may have taken over your (or someone else’s) life then the following questions may help you find out:
The more you answer ‘yes’ to these questions, the more likely you are to have a serious gambling problem. We would expressly like to point out, that such a diagnosis can only be made by qualified specialists and the questions posed above only indicate that there may be a problem. If in doubt, please contact the nearest organisation to you to speak to them about this. Please see below for contact details.
Gambling can cause addiction and without professional help the need to play cannot be controlled. Once this occurs it is absolutely necessary to take the first step and seek help. At PEI we ask you to contact us if you feel that you are gambling too much or are not in control of your gambling.
Call us on +356 21 382 889 or email responsiblegaming@pei-ltd.com. We also advise you to seek help with an independent gambling addiction organisation who can help.
